They're Playing Our Song

Ok, the bad thing about posting a WFMW is that when it is no longer Wednesday, you can't really leave it hanging up there, for like, 2 weeks....or maybe that's just me with my weird issues.
So I became sweetly inspired yesterday when Cindy asked us to post our favorite line from a cool 80's love song. The first thing that popped into my head was the song that ALWAYS made me cry when Mark and I were first married, but I blared it and played it all the time anyway. Lest you think he was some big fat jerk, the reason for all those tears were because I missed him dreadfully since he was in the Navy and out to sea A-LOT. So this was our song. And I still adore it. And I really hope that this works because it is acting like a snot everytime I try to preview it, so lemme know if you can see it or not.

So tell me, what song makes your heart go all a-flutter for your man when you hear it? In other words, what's your song? Don't be shy, I love stuff like this...:)

How cool! That song brought me back to my senior year in high school when the Lord providentially had my boyfriend move to Hawaii. He made a track with that song...then we broke up later.

God is so good....He took away the wrong guy and brought me the right guy a few years later. ;-)

ok, you got me so nostalgic that I tried to post a you tube video, but like you said, it is being snotty. I will see if it shows up anytime soon. Until then, you will have to wonder about my song...

Ooo...this song takes me back to my freshman year of high school. I was totally in "LUV" with a senior who barely knew I was alive. "Faithfully" was the song I had hoped would be ours. Oh well, like Caroline said, God didn't give that guy to me, cause Eddie was out there!

I totally heart Journey....Steve Perry had the vocals that blew me away!!!

We're close in age, you and I. I'm totally an 80's girl....

And thanks for the idea for a new post tonight.....if you want to know the favorite song from the 80's that reminds me of my man...

Go over and visit me later and read all about it!!!

Thanks for posting that song, it made me cry!!!

Loved that one, too, thanks for the flashback! I think my favorite would have to be Def Leppard's Bringin on The Heartache. xo

Great song...
Penn and I met in the 90's, so we don't have an 80's song. Our song is "Breathe" by Faith Hill. When he was a Policeman on patrol that song would come on the radio and would remind him of me, so that's how it became "our song"

I have always wanted a different one, but nothing else ever stuck~I prefer male singers!(maybe we can borrow y'alls song?)
