A Few Things... you notice anything different? No? Well guess who has finally stepped out of Archaic-ville and entered the 21st Century? Yup, that'd be me. I finally have a high-speed connection!! We sorta, kinda live in the boonies, so the only option is dial-up. It seems they are bent on trying to charge me a completely ridiculous amount to have their crappy service, so we are now connected via satellite. WHOOP!!
Just to celebrate I am going to give you a link to some much anticipated AWESOME news:
In other Crew news, I spent almost the entire weekend shopping....and get this....I was aaaaaall alone. Ahhh, the blessing. Sometimes I forget how much fun shopping can be since I usually have at least 1 kidlet at my heels trying to get me to buy half the store, but this time...yes, this time, it was entirely different. On Saturday night, I made the first glorious stop for Momma Fuel, then on to the hospital to visit my Grandma. After we hung out for over an hour, I casually loaded back up and perused Target for an insanely long amount of time. Now, I am almost done with my Christmas shopping and I am thrilled. So what about you, are you completely giftless still, about done, or have you been finished for a long time?

Not completely giftless, not done but somewhere in between. I'd like to get my hubby to take me into the city here in the next day or so to finish up. We'll see. Usually I'm about done at the beginning of Dec. but then finish up in the last couple days before Christmas. Yay, fun!

You were using dial up?

I'm full of pity woman. FULL. That just stinks. But now all's well in your world.

thank you SO much for your kind, awesome words on my blog about my family. It feels so nice to know that other strong Christian gals still struggle and are learning how to deal with their families in a righteous way.

Thank you so much.

(and I have 1/2 my shopping done.)

I am about 1/2 done. I LOVE Narnia, and am waiting to see that. It's not out till May, right? Glad you don't have to deal with dial up anymore!

High speed internet! Wohoo! Welcome to the 90s, Mr. Banks. :)

Can you name that movie?

It's about the only movie line I know. That and, "Sorry I blew up your mom, Ricky."

Hee hee hee.

Well no wonder you haven't been blogging much! Dial up is a (thankfully) very distant memory for me. Welcome to high speed baby!

Hey there,
Sounds like you had a good time!! I love getting out and shopping every once in awhile. It's even better when I have money to spend. LOL.

I can't wait for that movie!

I have everything planned in my head but I haven't shopped yet. Does that count for anything?

Nice that you are out of the dark ages. Welcome! :-)
Jealous of the shopping. I'm home with a barfing baby and a girl with a tonsil nugget, LOL. More on that on my blog later... ;-)
SO excited about the movie. JD has already shown me this and is already drooling on it.

I'm not sure if I would know how to shop all alone. LOL! I still have more to do. My younger dd is wanting a "Mommy and me" day and my ds wants me to take him out too.

From one "out in the boonies" girl to another... I'm So jealous! Tell me everything! Is it really any faster? Does it cost you an arm and a leg? It costs over $300 to set it up out here, and another $85 a month, and I've heard it isn't much faster, BUT I want to hear your opinion, because even a little faster would make life so much easier! ~Karlie

PS. Done since Thanksgiving!! HA HA HA HA HA (that's my evil laugh... just so you know)
