My "Rebuttal"

It has come to my attention that the previous post may have made a certain man look like a "big fat jerk". I was also made aware that I wasn't as hurried to let y'all know that I was presented with some amazing take-out from one of my favorite restaurants for dinner that night, or that it was accompanied with a DQ ice cream cake (my favorite...it's the crunchy chocolate stuff in the middle that does it for me) complete with my name on it.
I guess now would be a good time to mention that said man footed the bill for my freshly cut new do and highlights, and that he has a pretty big deal date set up for us in the next few weeks. I am not privy to date and time, you see. He takes care of everything.
Whew~now you can rest easy knowing that I am married to a pretty swell guy. Seriously, I adore this fellow and he is waaaaay more nice to me than I have ever deserved. Love you, my Mark.
Oh, and I am the ripe old age of 33.....Thirrrrrty-three.....Treinta y tres. Nope, no matter how many times I say it, it doesn't go away. Oh well. Now you know.

Oh my well, those of us who know him know he is good to you... letting you get away to Starbucks, etc. when necessary. No doubt he'd take care of you.
I'm often guilty of the same thing-- inadvertantly making the man of my dreams look like a nightmare!

That sounds wonderful! He must be a great guy. :)I'm with you on the crunchy chocolate stuff in the middle... it is what MAKES a DQ cake!

I didn't get that you married to a 'loser' from your last post. It was more about you being sick, huh? Glad you are being well taken care of. You definitely are married to quite the guy. Sweet!

I saw your new do from behind at church today...too cute! Maybe next time I can see the front?

Sounds like a pretty great b-day!
I have never had a DQ cake...I have got to try ASAP!

Gayle!!!

Since I'm 2 YEARS older than you, you are quite the young 'un.....I no longer feel young at all!

And my birthday is coming up this June....kind of a milestone birthday in my mind....

I don't think you made your husband sound like a BFJ at all! Those that said so may be having some latent feelings that their own husband is not living up to their unrealistic standards!!! Just kidding!

I'm so glad you love your husband and are content with your life!

Post pictures of your cool new 'do and highlights, will ya???

It's good you wrote this post, because I was seriously just thinking that your husband must be a jerk and really ought to be scrubbing the toilets for you since it was your birthday and all. WHATEVER!!! I'm teasing, really! I could totally see myChris giving me a hard time for neglecting to inform the blogosphere of such things too! :)

Welcome to 33! I joined the 33 club in November. It's weird to think that Jesus died on the cross when he was 33...or maybe I'm just weird for thinking about such things.

33 huh? I'm a little disapointed. Couldn't you add a few years on there just to make me feel better? I really don't want to be the oldest on our getaway!
