Bible Giveaway!!

Hey friends!

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by BibleCo.com to do a review for their website. I was pleasantly surprised when I clicked over at all that they have to offer! I'm always looking for reputable Christian websites and this one really fit the bill.

Not only do they offer any kind of printed Bible that you can possibly think of, they have several electronic and audio or video versions as well.

I was also very happy to see that they have a variety of homeschooling material available and that they are very diligent to only provide curriculum and materials that line up with a Christian worldview. As a seasoned homeschooler, I know and appreciate the value in that!

When I committed to the review, they sent me this gorgeous Bible which has quickly become my absolute favorite. The best part is, they personalized it with my name which is something that they specialize in (....ummmm, they specialize in personalization... not my name). :) Anyway, check this out:

Here's the best part! BibleCo.com has not only sent ME this sweet personalized Bible, they have offered to give one away to one of my readers. So that means YOU!! Even if you don't need another Bible this would be a wonderful gift for someone for an upcoming graduation or birthday or even a 'just-felt-led-to' gift. I'm not kidding when I tell you that I LOVE mine!!

TO ENTER: Just click on one of the links provided within this post to go to their website. Then, poke around to see what strikes your fancy, and c'mon back here to tell me in the comments what you liked!

If you're feeling really chatty (such an endearing quality, in my opinion), you could even tell me what your favorite book of the Bible is or even your favorite verse. OR you could just tell me what you've had for dinner. Whatever. I'm easy to please, peeps. ;)

Happy looking and good luck!

OH! I almost forgot! The contest will run through Friday, March 12. I will post the winner that evening. Please make sure that I have a valid email address in order to get in touch with you if you win.... Ok, you can move on now for real this time. :D

Cool beans! Love contests, reputable Christian companies & a great Bible! :)

Checked out the site; LOTS of excellent material! Was reminded that I still have the Thompson Chain Reference Study Bible on my 'want to buy' list. Need to move that up the list a notch; maybe for our anniversary in June.

Thanx 4 sharing about BibleCo.com; I enjoyed checking out their site & will bookmark it for further reference.

p.s. - love the Bible you received; pink is my fav color! :)

Wow. They have a lot of stuff I'd like to add to my wish list! I think my #1 would be a new bible for my husband. His is coming apart at the binding and it'd be nice for him to have another one before it falls apart completely! :)

Right now my favorite passage is:

For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. -Psalm 62:5-7

I love a giveaway!

I loved the site, too...I was just thinking about a new "bigger kids" Bible for Luke, and they have lots of choices to look at.

Thanks!

Let's see... favorite book of the Bible... probably Ruth. Favorite verse... Philippians 3:10 and John 16:33. Dinner.... leftover Chicken Express (klassy, yes, I know).

Oh, and I really like this...
http://www.bibleco.com/esv-journaling-bible-natural-leather-brown-flap-with-strap.html

It looks so Indiana Jones-esque. I love my wide margin Bible for quiet time reflections and dating special verses. Would love to give this to my man or my dad.

I have a gift in mind...I love the bibles and saw your firsthand the other night.

I also liked the homeschooling area and will bookmark it for the future.

Looks like a great site overall.

Fav verse: Phil 4: 6-7 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and you minds in Christ Jesus."

Look girl,

I know it's nuts but: for about 6 months I have been fascinated with the Geneva bible. I don't have the guts to buy it yet b/c of the cost and not being able to read very much of the translation online. However, this company gets my vote because THEY HAVE IT!! Not all do and you can't find it in stores. So, now I will know where to go when I want one. Thanks Gayle!

You had me confused there for a minute with the whole Emily Dobbs personalized name- I was wondering whose blog I was on! Anyhoo, there is a cute bible there I was eyeing up for my daughter: Teen Study Compact Limited Edition NIV Mist Blue/Kiwi Italian Duo-Tone. I like that one or the one you showed as my bible is such a big thumper to pack around. Thanks for the invite to join, though I am expecting that they probably would like someone in the States. Thought I would come say HI anyways... Last night for dinner, we had spaghetti and meatballs, tonight I have NO idea what we are having, and a verse I love and was repeating to myself several times yesterday was "Be anxious for nothing. But in everything through prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." AMEN!

I love, love, love the Hands On Bible in the children's section. I have one and I use it all the time. It has great devo and Bible class activities for much of the scriptures. It comes in handy when it's your turn to teach at camp or in Sunday School or just doing devos with your family.

And tonight for dinner, we're having ham, rolls, and broccoli and cheese. It's my ode to spring :) If you cook for it, it will come.

Can I say that my favorite part about the site was the banner stating Free Shipping? I refuse to buy online unless that's part of the deal. :)
The verse speaking most to my heart at the moment is Jeremiah 29:12 "Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you."

Favorite book ... RIght now I'm torn between Ruth & Esther. Love me a good woman of God!!!

Favorite verse would be Psalm 150- ALL of it. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Gotta love it!

As for my fave thing at the store ... Please do NOT make me choose. I am a Bible junkie and that right there is cyber heaven!

And, what is NOT to love about a personalized brown and pink Bible?! Seriously?

Wow! I have never been to this website before, but I am so impressed with it. I love the homeschool selection and will be visiting again.
My favorite book of the Bible is, at the present, Philippians. It never ceases to move me when I read how Jesus humbled Himself and made Himself like us to save us! I also love the focus on joy in this book!

Thanks for introducing me to this site. I love the gift sets where the bible comes with a matching cover that looks like a purse.

My favorite book of the Bible right now is the book of Psalms. God has been using this book to encourage me through a difficult season.

I really like your new Bible, and although it would go well with my brown and pink "Homeschooling With Heart" tote, I noticed this company also has a sizable grammar section. I am not too pleased with our current grammar books. I noticed Our Mother Tongue among the offerings. I have been thinking about trying that title. :)

Favorite verse: Galatians 5:22-23

We ate venison soft tacos with black beans for dinner. :)
