Who's Smashing Who?!

Just in case you missed THE BEST SMACKDOWN E-VER:

I still haven't got the full use of my voice back yet. Rock on U.S.A.!!!!

**Edited to add: Apparently NBC is being stingy with their video and has pulled it from YouTube screaming about copyrights...SO, I have another option. Only it's in Chinese. I can translate for you though, aren't you lucky? They are saying U.S.A. is AWESOME!!

Oh, and here is a link to the official Team U.S.A. Swimming site to read all about it if Chinese isn't your thing. U.S.A Sets World Record in 400m Free Relay

ok, ok, congratulations. Wait till the Winter Olympics- we'll get you then!!!! Can you tell I am a poor loser- watching them celebrate, I was like, OK, you don't have to be so obvious about it! I know, I'm working on my attitude.

So glad you found a video, I missed it. I tried to watch it on-line at NBC, but they don't have an agreement with my cable provider so I couldn't watch it online... Not sure what they have to do with each other.

I thought about DVRing the whole prime-time segment and decided against it. Now I wish I would have.

That was a great race! And I don't see why NBC is so bent out of shape. They're certainly getting their airtime showing it. I've lost count of how many times we've seen the replay - from every angle and at every speed.

Olympics at its best!

I'm not generally a sports fan, but I love almost all of the Olympics. (I'll pass on weightlifting and martial arts!) Swimming, diving, gymnastics, volleyball are my favorites, though.

We were excited too.
When will the french learn.. LOL.
My DH and I were watching it late lat night and we were jokingly dubbing in voices as the USA shook the hands of the french saying..
" You ain't talking Smack now"
" Who smacked who?"

What a great race. I just wish they would give some of the other racers credit and stop focusing on Phelps (though he is good)

OH yeah! Jeph and I were watching and the kids were fussing and we just kept watching!! Best olympic moment ever! Can you BELIEVE that Sweden, in FIFTH place, beat the previous world record?? Amazing.

Oh yeah, baby!!! I'm hoarse too.
The only sad thing was how Great Britain inched ahead of Katie Hoff for the gold in the 400. :(
Go Team USA! :)
