At the Heart

On a much deeper note, I wrote this today, and I thought I'd share. Maybe some of you can relate? I don't know, but here it is:

I wish that I could see some things, Lord, through Your Heavenly eyes.
I wish that I could know the future, understand it, and be wise.

I wish that anxiousness and doubt would flee me like a bird.
I wish that Your voice alone would be all I ever heard.

I wish that I could hear You clearly in decisions to be made,
And not this ugly place called "gray".... oh what a horrid shade!

I love You dearly, Abba Father, and in You alone I trust,
But please remember, Abba Father, that I am merely made of dust.

So you're beautiful, skinny, wise, funny, AND talented?

Oh man.

Beautiful, sweet friend. Sorry I had to go today. I'm praying for you. I'm home for a few hours if you want to call.

That is beautiful. And thanks for sharing your heart because I am totally stressing about some stuff right now (literally can feel stress oozing out of every pore and my back and neck are killing me...) and I really appreciate the reminder of taking our doubts and anxious thoughts to our Heavenly Father!
And, as far as your other posts, I use bloglines, though I'm not very experienced with it, and my toes are painted a pinkish red color...with the top part chipping off.

Thanks for sharing. You are so talented. I LOVE psalm 103 because it talks about us being made of dust.

Beautiful! BTW...I use bloglines to read people's blogs. It is so much easier than hopping to each blog. The only problem is that it isn't as convenient to comment. Anyway, thanks for sharing. Have a great day!

Your very "dusty" sister is totally relating to you right now. It has been a day of testing and I fear I have failed many times today. I am so GLAD "His mercies are new every morning." (From somewhere in the Psalms I think). I am glad He is our Abba, and so, so, glad you are my sister.

And as an aside I can't wait to change my blog name!

Love you!

Uh, the question really should be, who DOESN'T relate to your poem????

I can feel those words as if they were my very own! I just got done emailing my dear friend, and those sort of words were the gist of my thoughts!!! I'm in a place where I could easily just stagnate, and where I have to take every thought captive and cast it out.....fears are lurking and I want to be free!!!

Man, I want to be your real life friend!!!!

Since I have a Macbook, I just bookmark my faves and also I have my faves on my sidebar.....I just don't know how to use bloglines or anything remotely resembling that....I love the surprise of clicking on my faves and seeing a new post up!!!

Oh, and my toenails are painted a sort of dark rose color, in honor of a new pair of flip flops I wore to a baby shower Sunday! Can't have naked toenails with sandals!!

Keep those beautiful, eloquent words flowing, friend!
