The Crew's Big Blazing Adventure

Let's go from torturous to adventurous, shall we? Yesterday, Mark (because he can be whimsical, too), decided that we needed to load 'em up to head to the amusement/water park that isn't that far away.

It was 750 degrees in the shade with a humidity of 1000%, but why would we let that deter us? Wait, I did say that we were moving on from torturous, so that's what we must do. Plus, we all dripped off at least 6 pounds in sweat, so that's a good thing, right? Let's see what Ty thinks:

You can see Jake, off to the right, weighing the consequences of jumping into that waterfall. Sorry, brother, the swimming would come later. I have tried forever to upload a video of Julianna and Andrew, but it isn't working, so here are a few pictures, instead:

Mark, Andrew and Me feeling like FRIED eggs on the Scrambler:

Julianna rockin' the bumper cars:
Andrew loving life on the motorcycle:

I can tell you one thing for sure, I am so stinkin' tired today. What's up with that?! I feel like I have been hit by a truck. Here, I can prove it:

See, I told you. It's 2:00 in the afternoon and I just got my shower. Now I need a nap. Lovely bunch of pictures without make-up. I MUST be tired!

I've have been unsuccessful in convincing my hubs that we need a day at the amusement park. He hates those kinds of places, but I can't wait to take our kids!

We've been planning on going all summer, but it hasn't happened yet. However, Reagan won a free ticket to the water park and amusement park at the Library Summer Reading Finale, so maybe we'll actually make it soon. We've been once before to the water park and it's so fun!

Oh my....I can't believe yall did the amuzement park on the hottest day of the year!!! I am glad you had a nice family day in spite of the heat!!!

We only go on the non-water rides in April and May and then do the water park in July and August.

We love going!

yikes- I think I would get sun stroke in that weather. I definitely do not look as cute as you without make up and a towel on my head! I agree with Emily, you do have twinkly eyes.

I'm just skimming your 8 posts that I haven't read since I've been on vacation, and will have to come back to read them for real when I have a little more time, but I had to comment that you are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! I LOVE that last picture of you!!!
Oh, and you had me cracking up with one of your comments over at Emily's blog about staring at women's chests and your short hair cut etc. etc. You are a riot! A beautiful riot! ;)
